Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.I have the same problem and the solution with innodb_force_recovery = 1 didn't work. Only this solved the problem for me!!! Thank you m8!!! This works for me and mysql start working :) I solve that by installing Visual C++ 2010 Runtime, both 32bit and 64bit versions, from url:ģ2Bit: Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)Ħ4Bit: Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (圆4) When I run /ampps/mysql/bin/mysql.exe it was written that MSVCR100.dll was missing. My solution was to install both x86 and 圆4 versions. Even though the AMPPS installer also suggests installing Microsoft Visual C++. If you try the innodb_force_recovery = 1 solution first, don't forget to remove it before you restart AMPPS again after installing Microsoft Visual C++. It might confict and cause other problems. I have a medium (to low) level of expertise. I have installed and run various types of servers before, and I am familiar with ini config files and how to edit and resave them in a text editor. I am reasonably comfortable with command lines, also. I have a working knowledge of object oriented coding (VB.Net), and a pretty reasonable knowledge of Lan and Wan networking. I am sort of new to security and crytography. I recently found a link that seems to explain exactly why mysql gives the error with the InnoDB tables when you restart the host computer. The repair of writing "innodb_force_recovery = 1" into the my.ini file and then commenting it out again before restarting mysql worked for me. I believe that the problem is that ampps installed mysql as an application rather than a service. If so, can anyone tell me how to (safely) reinstall mysql as a windows service while leaving Ampps in place? And Ampps didn't install the stack as services, but rather, as applications.) Does this sound right? As a result, it never receives the windows WM_QUERYENDSESSION command (because this only stops services. #AMPPS LOCALHOST BLANK PAGE ON MAC WINDOWS# I would also like to reinstall apache as a service (with ampps) in place, to, if possible. PS: if I have to completely reinstall ampps, can you tell me how to ensure it installs the stack as services this time? (I ** did ** run the install exe as administrator.) Then, I would go into services.msc and configure them both to "automatic" start. #AMPPS LOCALHOST BLANK PAGE ON MAC HOW TO#
